The Greater Greenwood Chamber of Commerce hosts many events and give awards throughout the year. “Business After Hours” is one such event. As a premier networking opportunity in the area, “Business After Hours” offers guests a chance to meet people representing products and services in a relaxed environment. Generally up to one hunderd Greenwood business professionals attend this Greenwood event held from 5:00 to 7:00 pm on the third Thursday of every month.
The Greater Greenwood Chamber of Commerce also host a “Trendsetter Luncheon” every month. Held at Greenwood restaurants with Chamber memberships, these luncheons not only offer a wonderful meal, but also as keynote speaker on various business topics. All for only $15.00 when you RSVP.
Business Fairs are another big event for the Greenwood Chamber of Commerce. In February of each year, the Chamber partners with the Greenwood Park Mall to host a Southside Business EXPO that allows Chamber members to showcase their products and services to the general public. Also in September the Greater Greenwood Chamber of Commerce host a business to fair, which focuses on transactions between Greenwood businesses.
Each year the Chamber holds an annual meeting to recap the fiscal year. Share in accomplishments from each year and hear about goals for the future. In addition, the annual meeting includes the awarding of the prestigious Ernest Mishler Community Leader award and the Pride and Progress award for an outstanding Greenwood business.
One of the favorite events of Greenwood people hosted by the Chamber of Commerce are the legislative breakfasts. In collaboration with the Franklin, Indiana Chamber of Commerce, local citizens and businesses are invited to lunch with our state’s political figures. The lunch includes a question and answer session with Hoosier State Representatives and Senators.
One of the most delicious Greater Greenwood Chamber of Commerce events is definitely the Taste of the Southside. More than forty five Greenwood restaurants showcase their best, as the Greenwood community turns out to take a taste of the Southside. A portion of the proceeds from this event go to support local community organizations.
What better place to do business than on a Greenwood golf course? Every year over 150 golfers and non golfers turn out to participate in the Chamber’s Golf Outing. Spirited competition, good food and of course business deals are the name of the game at this Greenwood event.
The Minature Golf Classic is a favorite for women in business. Over 100 participants each year attend Chamber’s Mini-Golf Classic, an exciting networking event featuring mini golf, sumptuous drinks, hors d’oeuvres, entertainment and more.
Every business man loves a good ribbon cutting ceremony and grand opening. Chamber members enjoy complimentary promotion of their grand openings, open houses and ribbon cuttings throughout the year.
